The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is the foremost national science and technology institution in Ghana. It is mandated to carry out scientific and technological research for national development. 

GKV signed an MOU with their Coconut Research arm to provide technical back stopping and also make our factory available for practical training in VCO processing.

HortiFresh

HortiFresh is a programme supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands which has prioritized commercial agriculture in its strategic plan of moving from aid to trade.

The EUR130, 000 joint sponsored project with GKV is to: Build technical capacity of our Farmers to produce on sustainable basis, Expand the production capacity of GKV for export, Provide ready market for farmers,

Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET)

In 2006, by Act 718, the Government of Ghana established the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET). The objective of the Council is to ‘coordinate and oversee all aspects of technical and vocational education and training in the country’. One of the Council’s functions is to ‘source funding to support technical and vocational education and training (TVET) activities’.

Skills Development Fund (SDF)

Our Project with SDF worth Ghs107, 000 to upgrade the skills of employees and that of our suppliers has been a major success.

Import Promotion Desk (IPD)

The IPD is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development [Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ)]

With the IPD, the BMZ makes a vital contribution to building sustainable economic structures in the selected partner countries. By providing business competence and promoting competitiveness, the IPD supports the partner countries in creating jobs and raising income. Economic interests and development policy goals are thus linked in a way that benefits all those concerned.

German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ)

GIZ’s work is shaped by its partnerships. The company collaborates with many different stakeholders worldwide to support the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development.
